![]() ![]() An utterly enchanting meditation on experience, Naive. He writes lists, obsesses over the nature of time, and finds joy in bouncing balls-all in an effort to find out how best to live life. The narrator of this funny and poignant novel is searching for meaning, going back to his childhood, onto the web and off to New York to find it. Got it bookmarked and will check it out a little late. I'm usually speeding things up, and content in the languages that I know well enough (English, German and Norwegian) I'm doing 2x speed, (I don't have time for all the podcasts I listen to otherwise:p) Thanks for the link. Podcasts are great, I'm usually using them both for languge learning (I'm learning Russian at the moment, but I'm too much at the beginning stage still to get anything out of it) It's really great in that I can listen while doing chores, or walking the dog and stuff like that. Have the ability to rewind or even slow some stuff down if necessary. I like listening to stuff on P2, but podcasts and especially downloading them sounds a good idea. ![]() I should get back to reading the Erlend Loe books I have.:) Think I will also use lang-8 more. ![]() Considering news articles have been my reading material of choice, I should put more of my immersive time with less formal media and strike a better balance. Although I can get by in Norwegian now, though far from fluently, I am self-taught and I'm only slowly picking up on connotations through reading. ![]() Thank you for the further clarification on the connotations, especially on the first sentence you explained. You can say stuff like 'jeg sliter med preposisjoner' ('I struggle with prepositions').
